Membership Information

Individual Membership:

Includes all membership benefits including reduced conference registration fee and fall, winter, and spring newsletters. Membership is open to all general and special education administrators and professionals with responsibilities for special education in a public, private, state agency, and college or university. Individual members may vote and may hold office.

Individual Membership Dues: $130

Associate Membership:

Includes reduced conference registration fee and fall, winter, and spring newsletters. Associate membership includes professionally trained individuals in the area of education. Associate members may vote but not hold office.

Associate Membership Dues: $130

Affiliate Membership:

The CEO or designee receives reduced conference registration fee and fall, winter, and spring newsletters. Affiliate status is open to any individual, public or private agency or educational organization which exists to promote and improve educational opportunities for students in Illinois. Affiliate members may not vote nor hold office.

Affiliate Membership Dues: $130

Retired Membership:

Includes reduced conference registration fee and fall, winter, and spring newsletters. Membership is open to all retired IAASE members. Retired members may vote and may hold office. (For clarification, the IAASE executive board has discussed that the intent of this category is for retired members who are no longer working in the field and who are personally paying their membership dues)

Retired Membership Dues: $20

Student Membership:

Includes reduced conference registration fee and fall, winter, and spring newsletters. Membership is open to students enrolled in at least nine graduate credit hours towards an initial administration certificate. Documentation is required. Student members may vote but not hold office.

Student Membership Dues: $10
